The Feathers Association
The principal objective of The Feathers Association is to provide opportunities for children, young people and communities to develop in a positive way through informal education, sporting, cultural and recreational activities which the charity has provided since 1934.
Our aim is to enable young people to cope more effectively with the transition from adolescence to adulthood and to enable young people to understand and act on personal, social and political issues which affect their lives, the lives of others and the communities of which they form a part. Additionally we help bring communities together by sharing experiences and learning outcomes.
We have watched with delight as some of our young people have gone on to achieve their fullest potential including BAFTA-nominated actress Keeley Hawes who is now one of our Ambassadors, Hamza Taouzzale who became The Lord Mayor of Westminster and Janed who is now a Finance Graduate Analyst Banker for BNP Paribas.
The Ecoflix Foundation
Jointly owned by The Ecoflix Foundation UK and The Ecoflix Foundation US, Ecoflix is the world’s first not-for-profit media group, dedicated to saving animals and the planet. Free to schools around the world, and supporting almost 70 NGOs covering every continent, we want to champion current eco-campaigns with 100 percent of our membership fees, donations and profits going to support ongoing wildlife and conservation efforts.
Via our programming, our primary goal is to educate, inspire and support meaningful actions which will deliver a tangible, measurable difference to help save animals and restore the planet. At the same time, we aim to become the most trusted, ‘go-to’ media source for information, science and inspiration on climate change, whilst performing a crucially active role in saving animals and stabilizing the planet.
At Ecoflix no one profits except animals and the planet. Our passion is protecting wildlife and the natural world.
Our goal is to provide audiences with the latest information as well as uplifting, factual content to provide a daily shot of hope and inspiration, empowering viewers to take action.
Our priority pillars are: Animal Welfare and Safeguarding; Habitat Preservation; and Habitat Restoration.
